In 2021, Food and Wine named Calkins Creamery one of its Top 50 Cheesemakers and highlighted our historic 6-generation farm and our creamy, award-winning Noble Road brie.

Not only did our Noble Road Brie place ninth in the brie category at the World Championship Cheese Contest, but our Noblette brie won best in class!

Noblette & Curdz Win Big at the American Cheese Society’s 2019 Judging and Competition

Our Brie, Noblette, brought home first place in the “Soft-Ripened Cheese” category at the American Cheese Society’s 2019 Judging & Competition. To add to our excitement, our Calkins Creamery Curdz also won second place in the “Fresh Unripened Cheese: Cheese Curds'' Category that year!

We’re proud to announce that two of our cheeses won big at the 2018 PA Farm Show’s Cheese Competition. The annual event, celebrating its 102nd year in 2018, awarded first place to our Hop and Spicy Curdz and our mushroomy Noble Road brie in each of their respective categories.

Old Man Highlander Named August 2011’s Cheese of the Month by Grid Philly

In the summer of 2011 our nutty Gouda, Old Man Highlander was named Grid Philly’s Cheese of the Month. While that was an honor in itself, we especially loved that the article's author opined, “If Robert Redford were a cheese, he’d be this one.”
