As the name states, this is a Gouda treasure aged a minimum of 9 months in our cheese cave.
The rustic brown, earthy exterior protects the rich, nutty, caramelly cheese, often reminiscent of butterscotch.
With enough aging time, the paste develops crunchy cheese crystals and a more crumbly texture. Cave Treasure should be enjoyed one crumble at a time.
